i'm slightly surprised by that fort william freeze setlist.i wouldn't have recalled playing "psychodalek nightmares","laughing" and baby's on fire" in the same
set as "quietly burning","from the bizarre" etc.different generations of the freeze mixed up.i recall favouring short sets around the time of "quietly burning" but it's
possible that we were asked to play an hour set that night and had to draw in
some older tracks to,er,pad it out.thankfully no "paranoia" in there though,i'm sure we'd properly jettisoned that sometime before.

hi david,thanks for that.that was a good tour.in
the main,we wrote/improvised the songs whilst rehearsing in boston in the run up to the tour and we let them bloom as we travelled across the country.by the time we reached the west coast it was hitting the high notes so we scrapped it and started again for the next few gigs.i'm not stable at the moment but at some point i'll try to record you the "ghost drift" live set from june last year.it's different but pretty good too... xxx

Thanks for posting that pic of the tour poster. I was able to see them play in Seattle - and it was amazing. It was one of the loudest things I'd ever heard and it was absolutely beautiful...
